In our showroom, selections are organized and displayed by architectural style, so you can easily see the options that best suit your home and individual preferences.

  • Flooring – Hakwood, Kentucky Wood, Koetter
  • Doors – Koetter, TruStile

Is Insidesign open to the general public?

We work with walk-in clients, as well as those who have come to us through architects, designers and builders. If you have not yet consulted with a home-building professional, we can provide referrals.

What are your showroom hours?

Our showroom is open Monday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. On Sunday, we open at noon and close at 6 p.m.

How do I set up a consultation with a designer at Insidesign?

You are welcome to contact us anytime by telephone or e-mail. We also encourage you to drop by the showroom so you can get a sense of what we have to offer in terms of selection and service. Designers are available seven days a week, but we recommend that you make an appointment so that we can offer a more personalized experience.

What if I don’t know how to define my style?

Our design experts will gladly help. By analyzing your likes, dislikes and your own sense of style, we’ll discover your perfect architectural style. Most preferences fall into one of six general styles: Colonial, Romantic, European, Modern, Victorian or Arts and Crafts. If you like to mix it up, we’ll welcome and work with your own eclectic sense of style.

What should I bring with me to my first Insidesign appointment?

If your builder or architect has sent you, Insidesign will have your floor plan, so just bring your wish list and be prepared to talk about your preferences. Also, if you have any magazine photos that you filed away while planning your home, those can be quite helpful.

What if I don’t have a builder but want to get inspired and start to put some costs together for the near future?

Insidesign would love to work with you. Just bring in a floor plan and some initial ideas about styles, colors and lifestyle.

How much time will it take to plan and design my home’s interior?

It usually takes about three hours, but that time is spread over three different appointments. The first is an initial consultation, where we will establish the overall architectural style you want. If you’re not sure, don’t worry. Our designers will ask some easy questions to help define your style. The second appointment is when you’ll make some initial selections, using an exclusive software program. Again, you’ll have lots of help with this. The third appointment is where it all comes together. Working with your architect or builder, Insidesign will coordinate delivery times and provide installation services.

Does Insidesign offer environmentally friendly products?

Our selection of architectural millwork products includes a wide variety of options that are environmentally friendly. All Koetter-brand products can be certified by the Forest Stewardship Council, a not-for-profit organization that promotes responsible forestry worldwide. We also offer products that qualify for LEED® credits. To learn more about our commitment to sustainability, click here.

Actually, design services and expert guidance are only part of our one-stop design service. We have a diverse team of world-class wood products partners who manufacture cabinetry, doors, custom millwork, hardwood flooring, mouldings, stair components, columns and posts. In our stores, we also offer an array of decorating accessories such as linens, stemware and home décor for any taste and style. Sorry, but no online orders – yet!

What types of events are held in your showroom?

Throughout the year, we have a variety of special events planned, including cooking demonstrations, wine tastings and design workshops. We’ll also work with design and building partners, along with local charities, to host private events in our showroom and participate in activities throughout the community.

Insidesign offers gift certificates that can be used toward any of our home accents, such as lamps and frames.
